Branford

Branford is a town of about 28 square miles, including 22 square miles of land, on Long Island Sound in New Haven County, Connecticut, settled in 1644 and incorporated in 1685. It is known for the Thimble Islands off Stony Creek and for the Branford Green and its Main Street shops. Villages include Stony Creek, Short Beach, Pine Orchard, Indian Neck and Branford Hill.
