Matt Nuzie · REALTOR® · REMAX Right Choice
Behind almost every move is something bigger. A new chapter, a hard goodbye, a decision you have been carrying for months. I have helped clients through more than 900 sales, and I have learned that the paperwork is the easy part. The people are what matter.
Why this page exists
A home is where you brought a baby home, where the holidays happened, where you figured out who you were. So when it is time to sell, or to find the next one, it is normal for it to feel heavy, exciting and overwhelming all at once, sometimes in the same afternoon.
I do not rush that. My job is to give you clear advice and a steady plan, and to carry as much of the stress as I can so you can focus on your life.
The moments behind the move
Settling an estate or moving a parent closer is emotional work on top of real logistics. We go at your pace, I coordinate with your attorney when probate is involved, and I can point you to trusted local help for clean-outs and repairs.
When a marriage is ending, you need someone calm, fair and discreet. I keep communication clear for everyone involved and focus on a clean, well-run sale so you can both move forward.
Letting go of the family home is a big step. We talk through what you actually want your next chapter to look like before we talk about price.
Buying for the first time is exciting and a little scary. I explain every step in plain English, and no question is too basic.
Two moves at once is one of the most stressful things in real estate. I plan the timing on both sides so you are not left juggling it alone.
Sometimes life moves faster than you planned. I help you understand your options and your timeline, then build the plan around them.
How I show up for you
01 · Honest
You will get my honest read on price, timing and condition, even when it is not what anyone hoped to hear.
02 · Personal
Strategy, pricing and negotiation are mine, start to finish. My operations coordinator keeps the details moving so nothing slips.
03 · Patient
Some clients need to move in a month. Some need a year to be ready. Both are fine, and you will never feel pushed.
04 · Discreet
The reasons behind a move are private. I share only what is needed to get the job done.
A note from Matt
I grew up in Trumbull, and I have spent my whole career helping people right here in Fairfield and New Haven Counties. I have sat at kitchen tables with families on some of the best days of their lives and some of the hardest. What I have learned is simple: when you feel heard, every decision gets easier. If you are facing a move and you are not sure where to start, call me. Even if you are not ready yet, I am happy to just talk it through.

Common questions
If the home is part of an estate, the sale usually runs through the executor and may need Probate Court approval, so start with an estate attorney. Matt works alongside your attorney on pricing, preparation and timing, and can recommend local help for clean-outs and repairs. See local contractors.
Yes. Both owners typically need to agree on the listing and the sale, and many couples coordinate decisions through their attorneys or a mediator. Matt keeps communication clear and even-handed with both parties throughout.
Not at all. Many of Matt's clients start talking with him months, or even a year, before they move. A conversation costs nothing and comes with no obligation.
